Responsibilities
Case Review and Management Identify real-time threats through alerts or reports
Using data analytics tools, identify patterns, trends and inconsistencies that could indicate fraudulent activity
Manage and lead incident process and handling of suspicious activity case reviews, which may include reviewing and investigating internal and external records, contacting customers, financial professionals, etc., to verify flagged transactions, and determining the action/resolution required
Thoroughly document case chronology and findings, which may be incorporated into reports detailing trends and program enhancements to management
Escalate complex fraud cases to senior analysts or management
Ensure that all investigations and actions comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
Collaboration o Work closely with internal teams such as Operations, Compliance, Law, SIU, and IT, and fellow members of the Customer & Partner Protection Program. o Inform Customer & Partner Protection Program leaders of trends or recurring issues to help improve detection strategies
Projects o Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Advanced professional expertise
Possesses functional knowledge of profession, however, is still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills for the role
2-5 years of cumulative, relevant experience
Minimum Internet Speed: 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, in alignment with the FCC's definition of 'broadband.'
Internet Type: Fiber, Cable (e.g., Comcast, Spectrum), or DSL
Not Permissible: Satellite (e.g., Starlink), cellular broadband (hotspot or otherwise), any other wireless technology, or wired dial-up
