Responsibilities
Representing developers in commercial real estate and affordable housing transactions, including but not limited to acquisitions, financings, joint venture negotiations, leasing, and non-profit work
Submitting petitions to the New York State Attorney General’s Office Charities Bureau and the Supreme Court of the State of New York for approval of real estate transactions and corporate transactions (eg mergers, dissolutions, etc.)
Qualification
Required
New York State Bar Admission Required
2-8 years of experience
Experience in commercial real estate and/or affordable housing transactions
Ability to commute to New York, NY 10004 (Required)
Ability to relocate to New York, NY 10004 before starting work (Required)
Preferred
Affordable housing experience preferred but not required
Experience submitting petitions to the New York State Attorney General's Office Charities Bureau and the Supreme Court of the State of New York for approval of real estate transactions and corporate transactions (eg mergers, dissolutions, etc.) is highly preferred
New Jersey or any other state admission is also a plus
Portable business is likewise a plus
