ICBM-S - Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - 16654
Northrop Grumman is a leader in technological advancements and is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support the Sentinel program. This role involves analyzing weapon system data and engaging with Air Force customers to ensure the sustainment of the ICBM weapon system.

Responsibilities
Develop innovative approaches to analyzing weapon system data with statistics and data analysis to help sustain and maintain the Minuteman III (MMIII) weapon system
Analyze failure and performance data across ICBM subsystems
Develop engaging visualizations and reports to show MMIII data trends and results
Prepare presentations and reports to brief Northrop Grumman and Air Force leadership on the status of weapon system assessment and risks
Participate and lead risk management of weapon system parts and subsystems
Dynamically engage with AF customers to meet their needs and provide them with needed insight for sustainment of the ICBM weapon system
Qualification
Required
Principal Systems Engineer - BS degree in STEM with 5 Years of related systems engineering experience; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
2 years of experience in Air Force or other DoD weapon system sustainment enterprise
2 years of experience with data analytics, automation, or coding
6 months of experience with ICBM, Aerospace, or DoD program that demonstrates leadership, interpersonal skills, and written/verbal communication skills
Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - BS degree in STEM with 8 Years of related systems engineering experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Year with PhD
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
4 years of experience in Air Force or other DoD weapon system sustainment enterprise
2 years of experience with data analytics, automation, or coding
2 years of experience with ICBM, Aerospace, or DoD program that demonstrates leadership, interpersonal skills, and written/verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience working with DoD or Air Force customers
Dynamic personality for customer interactions
Experience with Air Force's Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)
Experience using advanced data analytics tools to provide enhanced insight into weapon system conditions
Experience with managing risks for a weapon system
Active DoD Secret clearance
