Responsibilities
Ensures businesses are equipped to manage supply risk, respond to market dynamics & capture maximum corporate value and scale
Coverage Strategy Development: Architect and implement data driven strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring a total cost of ownership mindset
Commercial & Financial Optimization: Leverage internal & external intelligence, data & tools to develop insights and plans to capture and maximize businesses value
Market Intelligence & Risk: Assess global supply markets, supplier capabilities & geopolitical factors to identify risks & opportunities
Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure strategic cohesion & clear compelling recommendations to senior leadership
Leverages ExxonMobil scale and expertise to create new and disrupt traditional supply systems that generate structural cross-company value
Success Measures
Stakeholder alignment through adoption and execution of coverage strategies across business units and functions
Reduction in supply risk exposure, improved resilience and agility in response to market shifts and disruptions
Demonstrated value creation through sustained near and long term value capture; successful implementation/execution of coverage strategy elements
Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering, Finance, Business, Supply Chain or related fields
Preferred
Minimum of 5 years of Experience in a global complex supply chain supply chain strategy or business development
Highly collaborative - able to work across functions and influence without authority
Strong understanding of supply risk management, market dynamics, and value chain optimization
Strong financial acumen to evaluate cost models, financial models and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Strong commercial understanding, through business development, negotiations or similar experiences
Robust collaboration skills and ability to develop many simultaneous cross-functional stakeholder relationships
Ability to understand and navigate complex interdependencies across the supply chain, commercial strategy, and operational execution to drive holistic solutions
Skilled in presenting ideas, influencing decisions, and building credibility with senior leadership through clear communication and strategic insight
Leading teams and stakeholders through change, fostering alignment and engagement during strategy shifts, market disruptions, or organizational transitions
