Responsibilities
Review customer specifications and develop comprehensive design proposals for a variety of valve applications
With CAD produce models and detailed manufacturing drawings from concept sketches and legacy drawings
Provide technical support to internal company departments such as quality, manufacturing, sales, and purchasing
Troubleshoot and support shop floor activities varying from material defects to valve assembly and testing
Prepare procedures (assembly, testing, qualification, etc.) and perform stress analysis for products and materials
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a similar Engineering Technology degree
Knowledge of the manufacturing environment
Preferred
3+ years' experience as a mechanical or product engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably with an engineered-to-order product
Familiarity with product data management software and development of bill of materials
Technical knowledge of valves and valve products
Familiarity with ASME Codes and Standards
