Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial statements
Maintain monthly GL account reconciliations, closing entries, and annual insurance renewals
Cross-train to back up payroll, accounts payable, and collections
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update ledgers as needed
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist others with Excel spreadsheet and Great Plains issues
Handle other accounting and administrative tasks assigned
Qualification
Required
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
3–5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and collections
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
High level of discretion and confidentiality with personal and business information
Positive, solutions-oriented attitude and comfort in a fast-paced, changing environment
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Dynamics GP is preferred
Candidates must currently reside within daily commuting distance of Maryland Heights, MO 63146. Only local candidates will be considered
