Territory Sales Engineer

Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners
Serve as the technical expert during sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings
Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their business needs
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to address technical questions and deliver customer-centric solutions
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations
Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to promote company products
Stay current with industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
5+ Proven years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering, preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, software, electronics]
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and solutions
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
Preferred
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience with consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches
