Responsibilities
Leads multidisciplinary teams of operations/system services executive, directors, managers, and staff in assessing current competitive position, customer satisfaction, financial performance, operational performance, technological performance, and team member competency
Creates a picture of service possibilities and operations capabilities that meet and exceed customer expectations
Coaches team leaders and members on team roles, contributions, and attitudes
Presents ideas, opportunities and recommended project approaches to assist in strategic prioritization and selection of key initiatives
Conducts visioning sessions to define competitive advantage and improve operational capabilities
Identifies the return on investment from projects defining specific cost, quality, service, time, and growth goals
Strategically plans the engagement and flow of work to create team energy/momentum, gain stakeholder support, and meet project deadlines
Establishes measurement tracking and monitoring systems while incorporating targeted performance measures in operations and financial reports
Qualification
Required
Experience - 7 years in management consulting, project management or significant management experience in a clinical area
Education - Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or other relevant field
Preferred
Prior experience supporting or participating in an ANCC Magnet® Recognition Program, including document preparation, data collection, or site visit support
Working knowledge of Magnet standards, sources of evidence, and re-designation timelines
Experience collaborating with nursing leadership, shared governance councils, and interdisciplinary teams in support of Magnet initiatives
