Purchasing Administrator
Stateson Homes is a regional homebuilder based in Blacksburg, VA, looking for a dynamic Purchasing Administrator. The role involves maintaining house plan cost data, managing purchase orders, and enhancing operational efficiency within the purchasing and production departments.
Responsibilities
Create and issue budgets and purchase orders
Setup and maintain product cost data
Identify and champion systematic and operational improvement opportunities
Work with varying stakeholders to resolve budget issues and provide budget reports as needed
Review job costs and conduct construction variance reviews
Distribute change order information
Facilitate and issue Variance Purchase Orders
Assist vendors and trade partners with day-to-day access, administration, and use of the Trade Partner Portal
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous experience in data management helpful
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, web-based applications)
