Business Development Manager
Whitehaven Advisors LLC is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business in the Indiana-Ohio-Michigan territory. The role involves developing sales strategies, cultivating client relationships, and expanding the existing customer base to increase revenue and market share.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with management on the development of sales strategies and plans to capitalize on market opportunities
Become knowledgeable about current clients and opportunities to expand/upsell services and renew or renegotiate expiring contracts
Research, build and manage account plans for targeted sales prospects within the territory
Obtain new business and cultivate existing relationships
Develop and present proposals and presentations to prospective and current clients
Establish and cultivate positive, long-term client relationships
Develop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clients
Provide timely and accurate reporting of selling activities, pipelines, account plans and new market opportunities
Maintain knowledge of competitors, industry trends and Company services
Attend conferences, trade shows and other promotional events as required
Qualification
Required
Minimum of (5) years' business development experience in security services or a B2B services related industry
Bachelor's Degree preferably in marketing or business management
Proven record of successful sales production
Exceptional client relationship skills and superior communication and presentation skills
Ability to present and influence customers and internal management
Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and with CRM and social media
