This role involves conducting hands-on, research-intensive UX research with a strong emphasis on usability studies and collaborating closely with product and design teams.

Responsibilities
Partner with product, design, and development teams to raise awareness of user needs, pain points, and behaviors
Serve as a trusted source of user knowledge and advocacy across the organization
Work closely with stakeholders and product owners to understand research needs and recommend appropriate methodologies
Identify unmet research opportunities that add value and execute them efficiently
Support major initiatives including:
New internal claims platform
Client website and mobile experiences
Purchasing and application workflows
Operate as a highly collaborative team member, regularly working alongside other researchers
Fully own UX research projects end to end, including:
Research planning and kickoff
Fielding studies, interviews, and usability sessions
Data analysis and synthesis
Communicating insights and recommendations
Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research, with a heavy focus on usability testing
Apply research findings to support the full development lifecycle, from discovery through delivery
Develop UX research artifacts such as:
Research proposals
Moderator guides
Research summaries and insight reports
Clearly and compellingly synthesize findings into actionable insights for stakeholders
Recruit and maintain targeted internal and external research participant panels
Qualification
Required
UX Research experience is a must-have
2+ years of experience conducting formal UX research
Proven ability to independently lead research sessions
Proven ability to independently analyze data
Proven ability to independently write and present research findings
Strong background in qualitative and quantitative research
Excellent communication, insight storytelling, and stakeholder consulting skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
