Responsibilities
Provide professional, timely communication with clients
Oversee all processes related to tax return preparation
Lead tax planning and review of federal and state returns for: Individuals, Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Non-profits
Analyze financial statements and recommend tax-related adjustments
Meet directly with clients to discuss tax returns, strategies, and planning opportunities
Represent clients before the IRS
Review IRS notices and oversee response preparation
Prepare and review workpapers as needed
Develop and review tax estimates and projections
Manage and mentor tax managers and staff
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (accredited institution)
7+ years of public accounting tax experience handling complex returns
Experience with Forms 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, and 990
Strong knowledge of tax preparation and project management software
QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) proficiency
Proven ability to lead and develop teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Taxation or Finance
