Airbus Helicopters is looking for an A&P mechanic to join their Maintenance & Repair team based in Grand Prairie, TX. The role involves performing inspections, assembly, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of aircraft components and systems, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Understand the basics requirements of how to perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components
Aid in conducting operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems
Support troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls
Understand how completed work follows FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications

Required

Minimum of four (4) years of aviation maintenance experience. Some experience may be substituted for education normally acquired in the attainment of an A&P certificate
Current FAA A&P license
US Person under ITAR definition required (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)

Preferred

Helicopter maintenance experience preferred but NOT required
