Compliance Officer
STRIDE Learning is seeking a Compliance Officer to support the Assistant Director and Special Education Coordinator in developing and interpreting policies related to special education programs. The role involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, monitoring special education services, and providing comprehensive support for compliance and reporting obligations.

Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and State Chapter 7 rules and regulations, in order to administer the STRIDE Part B program in full alignment with legal and programmatic requirements at federal, state, and local levels
Part B compliance systems, policies, and procedures, including staff training by effectively communicating special education laws and regulations
Coordinate screening referrals
Ensure case manager program exit completion
Oversee the ESS and communicate timelines, including scheduling weekly meetings
Assign WISER IDs
Ensure thorough completion of multiple data points both internally and within various state data systems through diligent file monitoring, tracking, and data correction processes

Indicators 11 (Evaluation Timelines) and 12 (Transition from C to B)
Hearing and Vision

Represent STRIDE Learning Center at meetings in a professional capacity as the designated STRIDE administrative designee
Provide comprehensive support for all compliance and reporting obligations
Coordinate and participate in weekly MET meetings, notify the AD upon completion and ready for scheduling
Review all Individualized Education Program (IEP) and associated documentation
Participate in transition meetings from Part C to Part B in situations where the transition coordinator is unavailable
Facilitate the enrollment of children
Handle and review all incoming transfer IEPs, and coordinate with families, receiving programs, and required documentation to ensure a seamless transition process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in special education, education, early childhood or related field
Three years of experience in a special education or monitoring position required
Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire
Must successfully complete abuse/neglect Central Registry check, sex offender and criminal background screening, and fingerprinting
TB risk assessment to be completed within 30 days of hire
Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and liability insurance required if position involves travel
