Responsibilities

Implement/support product, process and supply chain changes within the manufacturing environment related to quality improvement and operation optimization through the creation of modification:
Process flow within the Manufacturing Department
Manufacturing Work Instructions and related documents
Field Service procedures and manuals
Fixtures, tooling, equipment and systems
IQ, OQ, and PQ of fixtures, tooling, and equipment
Identify, investigate and resolve manufacturing difficulties including but not limited to:
First Pass Yield improvement
Throughput constraints and capacity management
Component or assembly substitution evaluations and approvals
Deviations and rework instructions
Resolution of CAPA’s
Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
Corrective Action
Preventative Action
Measures of Effectiveness
Wearing a static protective smock at all times while in the manufacturing work area
Wearing a ground wrist strap and plugging that wrist strap into the working table
Working in close proximity to other employees
Working in an environment that is temperature and humidity controlled

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
3-5 years related experience
Display a solid technical understanding of engineering principles and procedures (problem solving, CAPA, change control, measurement system, equipment and process validation, etc.)
Experience with Risk Based Life Cycle Management process driving quality and reliability improvement
Demonstrate application of engineering principles on individual/small projects and ability to work with cross functional teams to successfully implement quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Excellent written communication skills
Must be able to sit, stand, bend and walk throughout the workday
Must have good hand to eye coordination and dexterity

Preferred

Prefer experience with TQM methods (e.g., 'six sigma') and product, process and software validation
