VP of Finance FP&A/ Future CFO

They are seeking a high-caliber finance leader to operate as a hands-on VP of Finance/FP&A Director and quickly grow into a future CFO, playing a central role in shaping the company’s financial future.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain dynamic financial models, forecasts, and scenario plans
Manage cash flow with precision and provide weekly visibility to leadership
Deliver actionable insights on pricing, margins, distributor performance, and growth opportunities
Ensure the company remains audit/QAV-ready at all times
Oversee accounting workflows, internal controls, and financial data accuracy
Partner with internal and external accounting teams to maintain high-quality reporting
Lead financial diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning for acquisition targets
Collaborate with the CEO and deal team on negotiations and strategic assessments
Serve as a primary financial interface with acquisition targets and their leadership teams
Prepare investor materials, data rooms, and financial narratives
Manage diligence requests from potential investors
Support capital strategy and long-term financial planning
Maintain strong communication with lenders
Monitor and report on financial covenants
Support debt strategy and capital structure optimization
Improve financial systems, dashboards, and reporting cadence
Implement scalable processes that support rapid growth
Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
As the company scales, help build and lead a high-performing finance team
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a similar analytical finance role
Experience supporting or leading M&A diligence, financial modeling, or transaction execution
Exposure to investor‑facing environments (fundraising, lender reporting, board materials, or data rooms)
A track record of building or improving financial models, dashboards, and reporting processes
Strong command of GAAP fundamentals, financial statements, and audit readiness
Comfort working in fast‑paced, high‑growth, or founder‑led environments
Exceptional communication skills — able to translate complex financial insights into clear recommendations
High integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a bias toward action
Preferred
Experience in distribution, medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences
Prior involvement in roll‑ups, integrations, or multi‑entity structures
Familiarity with bank covenants, debt structures, or lender relations
Experience implementing or optimizing ERP/BI systems
