Innovative Driven, a well-established ALSP, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Business Development – Legal Talent who will serve as the cornerstone of ID’s talent sales team. This leader will personally drive direct sales while building and scaling a team of high performing sellers, focusing on legal talent solutions.

Responsibilities

Establish and lead a new revenue segment focused on legal talent solutions, including specialized recruiting, flexible staffing, document review, and expert consulting
Serve initially as a direct seller, responsible for generating new business and achieving aggressive annual revenue targets
Prospect, qualify, and close opportunities with law firms, corporate legal departments, and service providers
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned goals
Gradually hire, manage, and mentor a team of sellers focused on legal talent sales, once revenue goals are achieved
Drive long-term target revenue performance, with the majority coming from specialized recruiting, legal staffing, and managed review services
Maintain strong knowledge of legal talent market dynamics and competitive landscape
Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted messaging and demand-generation strategies
Support contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and client implementation
Represent ID at industry events, conferences, and client-facing meetings across major U.S. markets
Update all activity, pipeline development, and forecasting within Salesforce CRM

Required

10+ years of proven success selling legal recruiting, flexible staffing, document review, or talent-based solutions
Demonstrated ability to generate strong annual revenue

Preferred

Previous experience managing or mentoring sales professionals
Bachelor's degree; equivalent industry experience considered
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn/Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms
Knowledge of legal staffing workflows, managed review, and flexible talent models
Willingness to occasionally travel to industry events and to attend onsite meetings with clients and the ID leadership team
