Responsibilities
Review and interpret attestation requirements under rules R19-4-111(E) and R19-4-221(1)
Evaluate real-world attestation examples currently submitted to our organization
Consult with internal staff to understand current practices and challenges
Develop objective criteria to determine whether an attestation is valid
Prepare a concise written memo outlining validation standards and decision guidelines
Written memo defining:
Required components of a valid attestation
Acceptable formats and documentation
Common deficiencies or red flags
Recommended evaluation checklist
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license (required)
Demonstrated experience in audit, attestation services, or assurance
Strong knowledge of professional and regulatory standards (AICPA or similar)
Excellent written and analytical skills
Preferred
Experience working with regulatory or government agencies
Background in compliance or statutory reporting
