Personal Insurance Service Associate
Bearing Insurance is seeking a Personal Insurance Service Associate who will work with items directly relating to service center accounts in order to effectively submit and process client requests. The role involves updating the agency management system, communicating with service centers and carriers, and remarketing service center accounts.

Responsibilities
Update agency management system with information provided from carriers
Complete daily items/activities in the agency management system
Complete daily and weekly reports (interface and expiration)
Communicate with service centers to facilitate the clients request is processed
Communicate with service centers when requests aren’t processed correctly or in a timely manner
Communicate with carriers regarding renewal increases
Remarket service center accounts
Qualification
Required
Self-starter who is well-organized and displays strong business communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrates basic mathematical abilities
Team player who displays resourcefulness to find win-win solutions for our clients, insurance companies, and agency
Exhibits a personal commitment to develop insurance knowledge
Ability to conduct business analysis and interpret reports
Strong problem-solving skills
Personal commitment to continuous professional development including insurance knowledge and risk management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with experience working in an agency management system preferred
Demonstrate expertise in coverages, underwriting, rating and risk management
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of commercial insurance policy coverage with knowledge of industry operations to effectively manage, maintain and service clients. A proficient knowledge of insurance markets is essential
Possess the ability to identify insurance coverage gaps, make recommendations, and sell additional policies when appropriate
High School Diploma; College Degree preferred in addition to insurance agency experience
Possess a Property and Casualty license or obtain within 90 days of employment
Insurance designation or working toward insurance designation – (i.e. INS, AAI, CISR, ACSR) or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge
