Director of Human Resources - On-Site
Red Envelope Consulting is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function with a dual focus on strategic planning and operational execution in the healthcare sector. This role involves aligning HR initiatives with company objectives, fostering a culture of engagement, and implementing best practices across various HR functions.

Responsibilities
Directly supervises one or more employees
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Addresses disagreements with staff to ensure a positive work environment
Works closely with Managers/Directors on personnel issues
Reports critical personnel issues (e.g., disciplinary actions and/or termination) to senior leadership as needed
Collaborates with senior leadership to understand goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
Plans, leads, develops, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support human resource compliance and strategy needs
Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, retirement plan, and leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management
Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system(s)
Monitors and ensures the compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
Develops and implements departmental budget
Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
At least five years of human resource management experience required
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications

Position requires acceptable motor vehicle driving history, valid and free from restrictions, and must have a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance coverage
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Healthcare/Medical group experience strongly preferred
SPHR or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
