Responsibilities

Develops, implements and supervises occupational heath and safety programs and processes

Develops and provides training and instructions

Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations

Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections

Plans and conducts health and safety audits and investigations

Works with management to facilitate risk management decisions

Supports production operation teams through problem solving

Change management and integration of EHS processes into Equipment Acquisitions and Modifications

Qualification

Bachelor's degree5+ years EHS experienceHealthSafety risk assessmentsDeveloping safety programsAuditing experienceProcess improvementsOSHA regulationsOccupational health hazardsMasters degree

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher

5+ years of experience working in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)

5+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits

Experience developing and implementing process improvements

Preferred

Masters degree or higher

Experience with addressing occupational health and safety hazards related to aircraft parts

Experience with OSHA regulations and programs such as machine guarding, Lockout Tagout, cranes, etc
