Senior Relationship Officer

They are hiring a Senior Relationship Officer to initiate sales of correspondent banking products, develop business relationships, and meet sales targets within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Generates and cultivates new prospects for bank business, to include developing relationships with senior management and operations staff
Works closely with product partners to develop strategies and execute plans in order to achieve business objectives
Supports open and proactive communication with partner banks to address process changes or operational issues
Meets sales and calling targets while developing new business, generating leads and closing sales in all TIB services within assigned territory and/or banks
Monitors and reports pertinent information on partner banks and prospects relative to their overall condition, regulatory enforcements, and management changes
Makes recommendations directed to the FFLOC Committee, concerning requests from partner banks and prospects
Directs and administers the decisions made by TIB’s FFLOC committee regarding respondent bank credit worthiness to include communicating credit worthiness results, the securing of FFLOC, securing appropriate documentation, implementing new procedures, and responding to initiatives with the primary objective to provide for the safety and soundness of TIB
Performs troubleshooting and problem solving for partner banks ensuring a high level of quality service is sustained
Attends appropriate or assigned industry, association, and trade events in designated territory
Participates in planning and executing marketing efforts and partner events within assigned territory; identifies new areas of opportunities
Leads building strong business relationships with internal product partners to ensure process deficiencies or operational issues are addressed in a timely manner
Works closely with the Director of Correspondent Sales, to develop strategies and execute plans in order to achieve business goals and cover geographic expansion
Assists in the training of new team members to keep current on industry trends
Maintains current reporting and logging of calls, prospects, and sales in Salesforce
Complies with all banking laws and regulations, and maintains the confidentiality of bank and customer information

Required

Bachelor's degree
5 – 8 years' sales experience
Extensive travel, up to 75% of the time, including some overnight

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or Finance
Individual should possess excellent interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing, effectively communicating across all levels of management
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work both independently and with product partners
Software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); Adobe Acrobat; Concur; Salesforce
Concentrated banking and/or financial services experience in correspondent products/services
