Responsibilities
Performs daily front desk operations including financial transactions to ensure optimal revenue collection
Schedules patient appointments to ensure smooth patient flow and business operations
Enters/reviews data and/or accounts in NSU specific software systems
Responds to internal (NSU) and external inquiries and resolves complex problems requiring broad understanding of policies and procedures to ensure compliance
May lead, train and monitor the work of clinical staff to ensure work is performed according to clinic standards
Performs other duties as assigned

Excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
Ability to maintain confidential information
Proactive, punctual and reliable
Ability and willingness to provide coverage in other areas/facilities

Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels
May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties
May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils and computer keyboards
Must be able to lift items weighing in excess of 10lbs
High School Diploma or Equivalent
High School Diploma and minimum three (3) years of directly related experience or in similar position
Associates' Degree and minimum two (2) years of directly related experience or in similar position
Preferred
Associate's Degree
Minimum two (2) years of healthcare experience
Experience with Electronic Medical Record system
