In this role, you will work directly with employers on a variety of employment law matters, focusing on managing PAGA claims and collaborating with partners and associates on complex cases.

Responsibilities
Managing an independent caseload focused on employer-side employment defense, particularly PAGA claims
Drafting comprehensive employer handbooks that provide legal protection
Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Preparing clients for hearings, handling depositions, and representing clients in mediation and arbitrations
Keeping up with changes in California employment law to provide clients with the most current legal advice
Collaborating with colleagues on more intricate cases and offering legal support for business and business litigation matters as needed
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Qualification
Required
J.D. and active membership in the California Bar
At least 3 years of experience in employment law, specifically representing employers
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in legal writing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in legal research and case management software
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and handle a high volume of cases
A genuine passion for employment law and a drive to grow your practice
