Start in 2026 SummerFBD Partnership, LP is offering an exciting internship opportunity for students to gain real-world experience in embedded systems. As an Embedded Systems Engineer Intern, you will assist in the design and development of embedded systems and applications while collaborating with experienced engineers on various projects.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of embedded systems and applications
Support the testing and troubleshooting of software components
Collaborate with team members to implement firmware on microcontrollers
Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices
Document technical processes and project results accurately and thoroughly
Conduct performance analysis and optimization of embedded systems
Assist in the integration of peripheral devices and sensors into existing applications
Perform other duties as needed or assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages such as C/C++
Familiarity with hardware debugging tools, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Basic knowledge of digital and analog circuit design principles
Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and software development life cycle (SDLC)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively
Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and a reference check
