Responsibilities
Move parts and update location data in the computer system
Issue kits for production work-in-progress and final assembly
Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure availability of items when needed
Transport parts and materials between locations and departments as required
Receive finished goods from production
Maintain a clean work area and participate in departmental housekeeping
Comply with safety procedures and company policies
Complete other duties and projects as assigned
Actively participate in company-sponsored training programs
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of computers and ability to type 30 words per minute
Ability to read and interpret engineering bills of materials and blueprints
Forklift operation experience
Basic arithmetic skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Preferred
Previous experience in a similar field is preferred
Experience with basic hand tools and understanding written instructions such as engineering drawings
Familiarity with shipping documentation, BOLs, customs, and pack slips
Ability to lift 40+ lbs
