PMO Project Manager (SME)
Symposit LLC is seeking a PMO Project Manager to lead the establishment and implementation of a centralized PMO framework for their client. This role involves ensuring sustainable governance and standardized processes while providing effective portfolio oversight.

Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and transition of the PMO establishment effort
Define and document the PMO operating model, governance structure, roles, responsibilities, and decision authorities
Develop and implement standardized PMO processes for project intake, prioritization, planning, execution, reporting, and closure
Coordinate with client leadership to align PMO capabilities with organizational priorities
Manage PMO scope, schedule, risks, milestones, and dependencies
Oversee development of PMO templates, toolkits, dashboards, and reporting standards
Provide executive-level reporting on PMO implementation progress, risks, and performance
Lead PMO transition planning, knowledge transfer, and sustainment activities to ensure long-term adoption
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
8–10+ years of project and PMO leadership experience
Experience supporting federal programs or portfolios
Public Trust security clearance eligibility required
Preferred
PMP certification preferred
