Responsibilities
Own the accurate and timely booking of transactions into the general ledger in accordance with internal policies and reporting deadlines
Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and drive issues through to resolution
Support complex transactions across multiple structured credit asset types, ensuring proper documentation and reporting treatment
Prepare, review, and sign off on monthly workpapers, including position balances, expenses, costs, and P&L
Partner closely with deal teams to implement and maintain reporting across internal platforms
Communicate insights, issues, and potential process improvements to management to support informed decision-making
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to gather data and support financial reporting and analysis
Maintain clear, well-organized documentation to support audits, compliance, and internal controls
Assist with financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for operational improvement
Recommend and help implement process enhancements to improve scalability, efficiency, and controls
Provide ad hoc support for special projects and bespoke reporting requests as needed
Qualification
Required
Experience in operations, middle office, or accounting, ideally within asset management, private credit, or financial services
Strong understanding of general ledger systems, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with accounting systems
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Clear communicator who can partner effectively across teams and levels of seniority
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
Preferred
Familiarity with Alteryx and Power BI is a plus
