Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals in the precision grinding machinery industry
Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-state sales and operating team across sales, operations, service, and support functions
Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors; manage major accounts and strategic opportunities
Oversee sales forecasting, set KPIs, manage departmental budgeting, and report performance to executive leadership and the board
Optimize sales processes, implement best practices, and ensure effective pipeline management
Design and deliver sales training programs to equip the team for complex equipment and technical solution sales

Required

Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial or B2B capital equipment sales, with a proven record of exceeding targets
Minimum 5+ years in a senior sales leadership or management position
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
Prior experience selling CNC machine tools, grinding machines, or related precision manufacturing equipment
Strong leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools for effective decision-making
Ability to understand technical specifications and communicate value to engineering and procurement audiences
Willingness to travel up to 40% for client meetings, trade shows, and internal team activities

Preferred

Experience and understanding of Japanese business culture
Excellent relationship-building and business development capabilities
