Responsibilities
Support and analyze product costing, including standard and actual costs
Perform cost variance analysis (materials, labor, overhead) and partner with operations
Assist with inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Reconcile inventory balances and support cycle counts and physical inventories
Assist with cost roll-ups, BOM reviews, and margin analysis
Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
Prepare and post journal entries
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
Review financial results for accuracy and completeness
Assist with GAAP financial reporting
Support internal and external audit requests
Maintain internal controls and documentation
Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain
Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3–7+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated cost accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Epicor, Oracle, etc.)
Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
Preferred
Experience in a high-growth or scaling manufacturing company
Exposure to standard costing
CPA or CMA a plus, not required
