Balam Talent is working with a confidential mechanical services client that provides HVAC services to commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. They are seeking a Commercial Account Executive to focus on new business development and expand service revenue within a defined territory.

Responsibilities

100% Hunter role focused on new business development
Sell HVAC service, maintenance, and retrofit solutions (some refrigeration)
Typical deal sizes range from $5K to $1M+ , with an average around $75K
Call on facility managers, plant managers, property owners, and select property management groups
Prospect through cold calling, site visits, networking, and referrals
Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close
Learn to estimate HVAC service and retrofit work (estimating experience is a strong plus)
Partner with internal operations and service teams to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction
Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting

Required

Proven success in outside B2B sales within HVAC/R or a related commercial services industry (Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, facilities services, BAS/BMS, fire protection, etc.)
Strong new business development skills with a hunter mentality
Comfortable working independently across a large geographic territory
Ability (or willingness) to learn estimating fundamentals
Strong communication, organization, and closing skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory
