Responsibilities
Edit manuscripts for clarity, consistency, and adherence to house style (Chicago Manual of Style)
Develop and maintain product lines, ensuring quality control throughout the editorial process
Collaborate with art directors, marketing, and production teams to create resources that meet the needs of the Catholic community
Assist with creating new media products (ebooks, apps, videos)
Support product development from concept to completion, including manuscript preparation, permissions, and proofreading
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; English or journalism preferred
Editing experience or related background in publishing preferred
Knowledge of Catholic liturgy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Must be willing to work in Chicago and travel as needed
