Human Resources Generalist

Stellar Snacks is a food manufacturing company seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR functions. This role is responsible for policy enforcement, employee relations, training, and administrative support within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Enforce company policies, procedures, and workplace standards consistently across all departments
Ensure compliance with GMP standards, food safety protocols, and warehouse sanitation requirements
Support corrective action processes, documentation, and follow-up to ensure accountability
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues
Provide coaching to employees and supervisors to support performance, communication, and policy adherence
Assist with conflict resolution and help maintain a positive, professional work environment
Assign, track, and monitor required training for new and existing employees
Facilitate onboarding for new hires, including new employee orientation, safety training, and GMP education
Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and system access removal
Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately
Check in visitors, applicants, vendors, and auditors following company security and GMP protocols
Assist with document creation, filing, and general office tasks
Enter and maintain accurate HR and operational data in the company’s ERP system (e.g., employee information, training records, attendance or other HR-related data)
Run standard reports and support data audits as needed
Assist with scheduling interviews, communicating with applicants, conducting pre-screenings, and coordinating hiring steps
Support job postings and recruitment efforts as directed
Assist with payroll-related tasks such as timecard reviews or attendance tracking, if assigned
Help support employee engagement initiatives and company events
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
Perform other duties as assigned by HR leadership

Required

Bilingual in Spanish and English is REQUIRED
1–3 years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, warehousing, or food production
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and GMP standards (preferred)
