5+ years expEarthStream Global is looking for experienced Power Systems Engineers to help deliver exciting technology upgrade projects for the US power grid. Successful Engineers will be responsible for model validation and defect fixing for DTS system, as well as administering and optimizing the EMS through application configuration, tuning, and security patching.

Responsibilities
Model validation and defect fixing for DTS system
All necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing technical services on EMS system
Administer and optimize the EMS through application configuration, tuning and security patching
Code, test, deploy, and monitor break/fix patches and modifications
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Power System Applications including Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency analysis, Load Frequency Control (AGC), Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) with expertise in model validation event creation
Strong experience with Data Modeling
Proficient in both Linux and Windows
Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL
Good experience in programming languages for system integration, such as C, C++, PERL, or similar
Good experience in picking up and installing fixes on live customer systems
Strong communication skills
Preferred
GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) and/or AEMS Platform Software, as well as EMS of any equivalent platforms from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider etc
