Responsibilities
Ownership of monthly close for a portfolio of real estate assets
Journal entries, reconciliations, and property-level financial statements
Budget-to-actual analysis and operating expense reviews
Close coordination with property management on revenue and expenses
Assistance with audits, tax reporting, and lender deliverables
Exposure to intercompany accounting and multi-entity structures
Participation in process improvements and system enhancements
Qualification
Required
2–5+ years of accounting experience with real estate exposure
Ready for a step up in ownership, not just a new job title
Understands core accounting and wants to learn how assets really work
Curious, coachable, and motivated by growth and responsibility
Wants to build a long-term career in real estate accounting
Enjoys being close to the business and asking thoughtful questions
Preferred
Property accounting or public accounting background with real estate clients
Exposure to Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or similar industry systems
CAM reconciliations or property-level reporting
CPA-track or interest in continued learning
