Responsibilities
Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance to meet safety, quality, and efficiency across development stages
Inspect and test finished product during and after start-up and full-scale production phase
Collaborate with process & quality engineering to develop and refine test methods
Conduct analytical tests, measure and record data using specified tools and software
Maintain work area safety, cleanliness, and organization while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Assist in utilizing SPC data to define operating limits, robustness, and action thresholds for equipment processes
Support engineering and manufacturing activities including 5S, lean manufacturing, and material handling improvements
Qualification
Required
Associate of Science degree, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a production process technician with focus on process development, improvement, troubleshooting, data analysis, constraint analysis, and flow optimization
Ability to identify critical process parameters and apply statistical methods to process measurement and control
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturability, process design, process validation, assembly methods, and cost reduction methodologies
Experience in data collection and analysis within a high-volume automated manufacturing environment
Background in roll winding, conveyance, slurry handling and mixing, roll-to-roll coating, and tolerances on the micron scale
Proficiency in written and verbal English communication
Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours on shift
Must be able to walk, kneel, bend, push, pull and reach for the majority of the shift
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
