Responsibilities
Responsible for sampling and development of new product launches, workstation layouts, automation, EOAT, process flows, and provide support for new tool design
Utilizing Lean Manufacturing methods to investigate and initiate process changes that will improve yield, reduced production cycle time, lower cost, and improve quality
Must have strong materials knowledge with a wide variety of commercial and engineering grade resins, ie: rheological, shrink rates, thermal and mechanical properties
Problem solve and investigate troubled tools, processes or machinery
Provide support for production activities , as well as work with technicians and help introduce new technology to the manufacturing floor
Qualification
Required
Engineering or Engineering Technology Degree
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Injection Molding Processing
Experience in Decoupled / Scientific Molding
Strong materials knowledge with a wide variety of commercial and engineering grade resins, ie: rheological, shrink rates, thermal and mechanical properties
Ability to problem solve and investigate troubled tools, processes or machinery
Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing methods to investigate and initiate process changes
