Responsibilities
Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations for electrical and telecommunications towers, poles, and associated support structures using CADD PLS-POLE and other engineering tools
Support project execution by preparing engineering design packages, reviewing drawings, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications
Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, sales, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality engineering deliverables on time and within budget
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of internal design tools, templates, and engineering standards
Participate in site reviews, technical evaluations, and project coordination meetings as needed
Stay current with industry trends, structural engineering best practices, and changes to applicable design codes (NESC, ASCE, AISC, etc.)
Provide occasional technical support to sales or client-facing teams by reviewing feasibility and assisting with engineering estimates
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (required)
3+ years of structural engineering experience in utilities, telecommunications, power transmission, or related infrastructure sectors
Proficiency with CADD PLS-POLE software (required)
Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (NESC, ASCE 10, TIA-222, AISC, etc.)
Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
