Collaborates with accepting physician regarding provision of care for patient admission
Complies with guidelines, institutional policies and procedures, and other information to determine appropriate transfers and admissions into Medical Center, Emergency Department, and St. Bernards Behavioral Health
Qualification
Required
Medical terminology knowledge or relevant experience
One year of related healthcare experience
This is a safety sensitive position
Normal hospital environment
Occasional exposure to fumes, odors, biological and electrical hazards
Normal/corrected eyesight with close eye work
Hearing of normal and soft tones
Uses computer, telephone, copier, fax, scanner and adding machine
Lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 20 lbs, pushing and pulling up to 100 lbs
