Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and key decision-makers to identify prescription opportunities and drive business growth
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and oversee the business development team with a hands-on approach, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and accountability
Sales Strategy & Execution: Create and implement comprehensive business development strategies, establish performance quotas, and develop priority target lists to maximize market penetration
Revenue Growth: Drive sales initiatives that directly impact top-line revenue through new client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and market expansion
Market Analysis: Identify emerging business opportunities within the pharmaceutical landscape and develop actionable plans to capitalize on market trends
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, clinical, and executive teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction

Required

Experience leading business development teams in the pharmaceutical or pharmacy industry

Strong track record of building relationships with physicians and securing script referrals
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive team performance
Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented professional
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events

Preferred

Background in medical sales or related healthcare sales roles
Experience in specialty pharmacy operations
Established network within the Miami healthcare community
MBA or advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
