HR Assistant
Kimco Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a Temporary HR Assistant to provide short-term support for HR operations. The role focuses on workers’ compensation administration, safety initiatives, compliance, and documentation cleanup.

Responsibilities
Support workers’ compensation processes, including claim documentation, tracking, follow-ups, and coordination support
Assist with documenting the workers’ compensation process to support training and transition
Support safety-related administration, including review of safety documentation and training records
Assist with identifying gaps in safety records or processes
Support OSHA 300 log preparation and organization of safety documentation
Assist with employee file maintenance, audits, and documentation cleanup
Support onboarding and offboarding backend processes (paperwork, system setup, tracking; employee meetings remain with HR)
Assist with issuing and tracking required compliance items, including employee notices and acknowledgments
Administer and track required sexual harassment and workplace violence prevention training
Support benefits and payroll reconciliation and audits, identifying discrepancies
Assist with recruiting coordination and resume screening
Support HRIS (BambooHR) record cleanup, workflow setup, and process documentation
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of HR, workers' compensation, and safety support experience
Demonstrated experience supporting workers' compensation administration required
Demonstrated experience supporting safety documentation, training, or OSHA-related tasks required
Working knowledge of HR compliance and employee recordkeeping
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field)
Experience working with an HRIS; BambooHR experience preferred
