Responsibilities
You’ll lead large-scale organizational design projects and advise stakeholders while building relationships with colleagues and clients
You’ll also work collaboratively to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges, from how to best structure teams to deliver on the organization’s strategy to how the organization’s structure can allow for more agile ways of working
You’ll be expected to assume operational responsibility and accountability for engagements, generate ideas to expand current service offerings, and identify new business opportunities
Deep understanding of using organizational design as an integral component of transformational initiatives focused on accelerating business performance
Understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with acquisitions, divestures, mergers and the organizational design implications
Understand the breadth of our offerings across the firm, to bring the best of EY to our clients and be able to sell People Consulting alongside our other service line offerings
Lead the delivery of transformation projects, demonstrate technical competence in our capabilities and take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex client challenges
Develop, shape and deliver programs of work from planning through to implementation – managing project resources and budgets effectively, and managing and mitigating all risks and issues
Be able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisions
Encourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members, and promote an inclusive working environment
Provide coaching and development opportunities for junior resources and peers, and act as a visible role model for our people
Qualification
Required
Relevant professional service experience, with a global management consultancy firm, or niche consultancy in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)
Minimum 10 years of prior experience in Operating Model Development, Organizational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, Organizational Assessment, and Organizational Governance, with success in current job applying one or more of these capabilities
Experience of leading org. design engagements in one or more of the following functional domains – supply chain, IT, finance, customer, sales & marketing. Should have worked in large multi-disciplinary teams as part of functional and enterprise-wide transformation engagements
Proven track record in managing and analyzing large datasets and using analytics in project execution. Deep expertise in working with and engaging clients in discussions around the use of digital assets in the delivery of org. design projects
Bachelor's degree required in a related field of business, human resources, psychology
Willingness to travel as needed, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment with an average of three (3) days per week at a client site or within an EY office
