HR Generalist
HARTING Technology Group is a leading international supplier of industrial connectivity solutions. They are seeking an HR Generalist who will provide comprehensive support across core HR functions for the Americas Region, ensuring effective delivery of HR programs aligned with strategic goals.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions related to company policies and HR processes, ensuring clear guidance and timely support
Address employee concerns and escalate complex or sensitive issues to HR leadership as appropriate to ensure timely and effective resolution
Support workforce planning initiatives by analyzing headcount, turnover, and staffing needs
Coordinate immigration processes including work visa applications, renewals, and compliance with immigration laws
Administer leave programs, including Workers Comp, STD, LTD, FMLA, ADA, state-specific leaves, and personal leave requests
Maintain accurate leave records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Support performance management processes, including goal-setting and annual reviews
Lead the annual review and revision of employee policies, ensuring timely updates to the company handbook and alignment with current legal and organizational requirements
Communicate HR policy changes to employees and managers; provide guidance on interpretation and application
Maintain accurate employee records and prepare documentation for internal and external audits
Act as primary payroll backup and perform comprehensive audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries. ensuring accurate pay and benefit continuation during leaves
Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance employee experience across the region
Participate in HR projects and initiatives supporting organizational and regional goals

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a generalist capacity preferably in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of production and warehouse employees' needs
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
Experience with leave administration, performance management, and HRIS systems
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Self-driven and proactive, always looking for ways to optimize efficiencies while focused on internal customer satisfaction
