Workday Financials Architect
CrossVue is a contemporary consulting firm specializing in Workday services, seeking a Financials Architect to guide clients through Workday Financials implementations. The role involves advising stakeholders, managing full-cycle implementation projects, and contributing to internal practice development while ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Advising key stakeholders through selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of Workday
Contributing beyond client delivery, including, but not limited to recruiting, coaching, marketing, business development, practice development, operational improvement, and beyond
Implementing performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
Participate in full-cycle and phase X implementation projects within the Workday FINS product suite
Participate in the advisory, planning and implementation of Workday Financials applications by documenting requirements, mapping processes, gathering system data and converting data into format required for integration
Scope conversion requirements, execute data transformation activities, and support end user validation activities from existing Legacy system to new system
Implement performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
Communicate effectively with clients to convey project updates and recommendations
Prioritize client’s interest and proactively listen to ensure that work exceeds their expectations
Actively foster internal relationships, share knowledge, and mentor other consultants to grow our practice
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, higher education, and/or accounting
3+ years of hands-on functional financials experience with Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or other ERP financial management systems
Experience implementing Workday Financials (or similar system), FDM, Financial Accounting, Budgets, Financial Reporting, and/or Accounting Center preferred
Certification in Workday Core Financials, plus 3 additional certifications; Financial Accounting, FDM, etc
Proficiency with business processes including; general ledger, budgeting, cash management, grant management, chart of accounts redesign, procure-to-pay, purchase order conversions, expense management, fixed asset management, and/or order-to-cash
Ability to translate business requirements into system requirements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a 'big picture' perspective
Preferred
Experience implementing Workday Financials (or similar system), FDM, Financial Accounting, Budgets, Financial Reporting, and/or Accounting Center preferred
