Responsibilities
Develop the daily merchandise sales and margin forecast leveraging trends, expectations for product launches, and promotional/clearance activity
Develop forecast and budget for shipping revenue
Analyze significant variances to forecast, determine drivers, and future implications
In conjunction with the eComm business, develop the annual budget including drivers of planned sales & margin growth
Leverage our data warehouse to identify key performance drivers, marketing effectiveness, change in traffic sources and devices
Monitor and diagnose any unforeseen gaps between Demand and Fulfilled sales
Non-Routine analytics on promotional events
Provide sales/margin data and insights for discussions with key stakeholders and business leaders (Monthly Business Review, PAR/Finance meeting)
Estimate value of eCommerce promotions/events for business planning and forecasting purposes, and completing post-mortem financial analysis of promotions/events
On a monthly basis, complete banner-level sales and margin reporting for pro forma banner-level financial statements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree-MBA/CPA a plus
5-7 Years of Experience
Preferred
knowledge of MS Excel
knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials
knowledge of Hyperion
