Assistant Manager Quality
Momentive is a premier global advanced materials company focused on silicones and specialty products. The Assistant Manager Quality will support quality-assurance programs to ensure compliance with the site Quality Management System (QMS) and customer quality requirements, while also coordinating quality improvement initiatives and training for the quality team.

Responsibilities
Work with Site Quality Leader to plan and implement quality systems for specific programs
Facilitates expiry extension process for overage materials (Raw material, Intermediates and Finished goods)
Co-ordinate for internal (cross function) and external product quality complaints for issue resolution with root cause and corrective actions identified
Provide support for the reduction or elimination of product quality problems to improve product quality
Work with Quality Leader to review quality trends and track the root cause of problems. Initiatives/leads projects to proactively eliminate repeat occurrences
Co-ordinate to identify the need to improve the accuracy of quality control methods and liaise with quality control for implementation (within function)
Support to identify training needs for quality team and work to provide the necessary training as appropriate. Act as a Subject Matter expert for quality
Initiate and facilitate Quality Forward look meetings in area of responsibility and participate in product quality FMEA, Quality Risk Assessments or any other methodologies
Represent product quality on regulatory/risk/specification reviews. Participate in Management of Change (MOC) reviews of design, manufacturing, purchasing, and test documentation to ensure that quality requirements are achieved on assigned programs, areas, and functions
Initiate MOC process for global products specification changes that are initiated to meet customer needs
Qualification
Required
Post Graduate degree in Science (Chemistry). MPhil / Ph D would be an added advantage
Min 10 years of experience in quality operations and related systems
Knowledge of Quality Standards, including ISO- QMS
Expert knowledge of SAP QM functional module, and Master Data
Good communication skills in English (and local language where appropriate)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Good Excel and presentation skills for data analysis
The successful candidate must have a strong track record of working effectively as an individual contributor as well as in a cross-functional team of both peers and senior management
Preferred
Effective interpersonal skills, including good listening ability and the capability to convince others to establish or change precedents
Able to manage multiple tasks effectively using prioritization techniques to ensure timely response to internal and external requests
Strong analytical expertise coupled with presentation, facilitation and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and in cross-cultural environments. Willing to join global calls/meetings as needed
Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma) certification, at least CI Practitioner (Green Belt) level
Knowledge of Quality Standards – FDA, TS, GMP, GLP, etc
