Responsibilities

Maintain ownership of the program’s operations EAC, budget and EVM reporting
Change agent to improve material flow and empowerment within subassembly integration utilizing lean practices and visual management
Assist in establishing and executing all operations plans, including material, manufacturing, integration of large and complex subassemblies with associated testing
Develop assembly and manpower forecast
Assist in proposal efforts for the operations team
Performing direct tasks and assuming individual roles as necessary to support the team and program objectives
Establish methodology to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly objectives are achieved
Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of program scope, schedules, performance objectives, internal and external processes, guidelines, policies, and best practices, and ensuring that all functional team members are aware of and are compliant with these items
Manage an integrated master schedule for the operation’s portion of the program scope
Prepare and present information relating to program status for both internal and external review
Identify project milestones, critical paths, and potential risks, and develop contingency plans to address them
Facilitate regular meetings and communications to keep all parties informed of project progress, changes and issues

Required

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience to include a background in Operations or Program Management/Military experience – OR – Master's degree with 3 years of related experience to include a background in Operations or Program Management/Military experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance which typically requires US Citizenship
Very strong MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word skills
Previous experience leading a multi discipline team
Experience working with a manufacturing execution system (MES, SAP, PRISM)
Earned Value Management (EVM) Experience
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience to include a background in Operations or Program Management/Military experience – OR – Master's degree with 6 years of related experience to include a background in Operations or Program Management/Military experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance which typically requires US Citizenship
Very strong MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word skills
Previous experience leading a multi discipline team
Experience working with a manufacturing execution system (MES, SAP, PRISM)
Earned Value Management (EVM) Experience
Exceptional written and oral communications skills
Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with all levels in the organization

Preferred

Bachelors and/or Master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
Active DoD Secret security clearance, or higher
Previous experience leading a multidisciplinary team
Experience implementing lean projects
Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
Experience managing a Product line
Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
