Responsibilities
Assist in planning audit engagements, executing audit procedures, and preparing financial reports
Accurately enter audit data and prepare comprehensive workpapers, trial balances, supporting schedules, and engagement correspondence
Support the Audit Manager, Supervisor, and senior auditors in identifying and resolving engagement issues and recommending improvements to management
Perform all stages of simple engagements—from planning through report preparation—under the direction of an Audit Director, Manager, or Supervisor
Collaborate with clients to understand their operations and apply GAAP, GAAS, and GAGAS as appropriate
Demonstrate proficiency in research techniques and effective use of firm resources
Help train or mentor staff auditors during engagements
Maintain clear, organized, and professional documentation of all work performed
Qualification
Required
Four-year degree in Accounting or related business field
Minimum of two years relevant audit experience in providing financial statement audits
Strong technical skills
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, technical writing skills and research skills
Preferred
Completion of, or undergoing CPA, a plus
