Responsibilities
Building and maintaining strong relationships with food processing customers in the poultry, meat, and prepared foods industries
Traveling to customer plants four to five days a week
Projecting a professional, ethical, and customer-first image
Submitting part and equipment details to the inside sales team for quoting
Maintaining schedules and contacts within Salesforce
Preparing weekly call reports
Submitting expense and attendance records
Supporting other territories as needed
Participating in PartsXpress® and customer events
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in sales (experience in food processing is a bonus)
An ability to socialize for long periods of time
Excellent phone skills/etiquette
An ability to prioritize and organize with a strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills
An ability to adhere to confidentiality regarding pricing and process
Willingness to travel and work weekends
A valid driver's licence
Preferred
BS degree from a 4 year institution preferred but not required
