Responsibilities
Provides high-level leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology’s research enterprise
Independently manages a rapidly growing, complex multimillion-dollar research portfolio encompassing federal grants, foundation awards, donor-funded initiatives, clinical trials, and multi-site collaborative programs
Partners directly with the Chief Administrator, Chair, Research Director, faculty, and institutional leaders to develop research strategy, build infrastructure, ensure financial stewardship, expand clinical research capacity, and strengthen compliance and operational excellence across all programs
Leads administrative, research, and operational staff supporting the clinical, translational, and basic science research missions of the department
Serves as the primary administrative leader for the Nebraska Center for Women’s Health Research (NCWHR)

Required
High-level leadership experience
Strategic direction experience
Operational oversight experience
Experience managing a multimillion-dollar research portfolio
Experience with federal grants, foundation awards, donor-funded initiatives, clinical trials, and multi-site collaborative programs
Ability to partner with institutional leaders to develop research strategy
Experience in building infrastructure for research
Financial stewardship experience
Experience in expanding clinical research capacity
Knowledge of compliance and operational excellence in research
Experience leading administrative, research, and operational staff
Experience supporting clinical, translational, and basic science research missions
